Numerex was an early adopter of GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) technology for M2M applications. SMSXpress Traffic Flow: Messages bypass any and all network service centers, and are routed directly to the Numerex SMSXpress Gateway, located in our secure data center. Customers access the Gateway for immediate delivery of messages utilizing our unique, straightforward interface.

We have crafted a specialized service offering and tailored it — like SMSXpress — to the needs of the M2M market. Our new GPRS service has broad geographical coverage, cost-effective data plans, and best-of-breed network management.
